Song-Kyoo (Amang) Kim, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Asian Institute of Management. He had been a technical manager and TRIZ specialist of mobile communication division at Samsung Electronics. He is involved in IT industries more than 10 years. Dr Kim has received his master degree of computer engineering on 1999 and Ph.D. of operations research on 2002 from Florida Institute of Technology. He is the author of more than 20 operations research papers focused on stochastic modeling, systematic innovations and patents. He had been the project leader of several 6 Sigma and TRIZ projects mainly focused on the mobile industry.

He is recently published the online book, titled, “Innovative Design Guidebook for Game Changers” which is targeted to apply the systematic innovation for business development and it is available online (http://bitly.com/1tVhrnv).

Prof. Piriya Pholphirul from National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), Thailand

Professor Piriya Pholphirul is (currently the youngest in Thailand) full professor of Economics of Graduate School of Development Economics, National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) and Vice Dean of the International College of National Institute of Development Administration. He received his bachelor's degree in economics from Chulalongkorn University (Thailand), a master's degree in policy economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (USA) and doctorate in economics from Georgia State University (USA). He also spent three years leave from NIDA, he served an Economist at the World Bank (Human Development Unit, East Asia and Pacific). Before that, he was  the associate director of the Center of Poverty Studies of NIDA, a research specialist at the Thailand Development Research Institute (TDRI), Researcher at the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies, Georgia State University (USA), and an international business officer at the Siam Cement Group.


Professor Piriya has been teaching and conducting extensive research in fields of economics.  He has published his work in a number of recognized academic journals.  Because of his level of expertise, he has served as a consultant to both Thai governmental organizations and international organizations such as the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Labor, Office of National Economic and Social Development Board (NESDB), International Institute for Trade and Development (ITD), World Bank, Asian Development Bank, International Labour Organization (ILO), World Health Organization (WHO), UNESCAP, and International Development Research Center (IDRC). He has also published more than 50 research article worldwide and wrote more than 150 op-ed articles in the Post Today Newspaper.
